BricsCAD Lite Network licensing provides flexible, shared access to the 2D CAD software across a network, allowing multiple users to utilize the software and pool licenses. This cost-effective system reduces the per-user cost by allowing more occasional users access than a single-user license. A dedicated license server manages the shared pool of licenses, and users must be on the same network or VPN to connect and check out a license to use BricsCAD Lite. 

How it Works

1. Network License Server: 

   A BricsCAD Network License Server is installed on a server machine on the local network. 

2. License Pool: 

   The server manages a pool of shared BricsCAD Lite licenses. 

3. Client Access: 

   Client machines, connected to the same network or via VPN, can connect to the license server. 

4. License Checkout: 

   When a user launches BricsCAD Lite, it checks out a license from the server's pool for their specific session. 

5. License Roaming: 

   Users can "checkout" a network license for a set period, allowing them to use BricsCAD Lite when not connected to the network, such as when working from home or traveling.
